SUPPORT COORDINATION

Brightest Care also provides support coordination, which is a service that helps you navigate the NDIS system. Our support coordinators have been trained in the NDIS and know which services are best suited to your needs.

You don’t need to pay anything out of your own pocket because it’s included in your NDIS plan. We invoice NDIS directly, so you don’t have anything to worry about.

We sit down and talk with all of our participants to understand their disability and their needs.

This allows us to create a plan that helps you achieve your goals. We are here every step of the way to make sure that you get the most care out of your NDIS plan.

Our team will:

• Keep track of your budget
• Make payments for you
• Take care of financial reporting
• Help with negotiating prices

We can also help you build skills so that you can manage your own plan in the future if you wish.

We help participants identify and achieve their individual goals. Our Support Coordinators will work with your friends, family members, doctors, and other service providers to help you accomplish the goals of your NDIS plan.

Our Services also include:

• Establishing a budget for each type of support and explaining how your budget works
• Informing participants about their responsibilities and resolving any potential issues
• Monitoring your progress to ensure that the services are meeting your needs

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Our participants enjoy all the needed and reasonable supports that allow them to normally go about their daily lives.

These include but are not limited to:

• Assisting participants to find long-term accommodation by helping with completing paperwork, understanding their obligations with regards to rent, bills, and daily expenses
• Assistance with daily, social, and community participation
• Improving health by offering assistance with exercises and therapy
• Building skills to improve literacy and numeracy, and managing stress caused by demands of education and employment.

DAILY ASSISTANCE

Our participants have the same control over their lives as people without disabilities. We assist our participants in taking part in social and recreational activities. Whether you wish to go to a concert or on holiday, our support workers will support you every step of the way.

• Assisting with employment obligations, educational activities, and holidays away from home
